PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Ideal Tris ("the site", "we") is a free browser game. This page explains what information is collected when you play, why it is collected, and the choices you have. The short version: the game itself requires no account and collects no personal information beyond an optional leaderboard name you choose to enter; advertising and analytics are provided by Google and described below.

INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

The only information you can actively submit is a leaderboard name (up to 14 characters) when you place on a leaderboard. This is optional — you can skip it after every game. Names are stored together with the score, time, or line count of the run and a timestamp, in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), and are displayed publicly on the in-game leaderboards. Please don't enter your real name or other personal information as a leaderboard name. To request removal of a leaderboard entry, email us at the address below.

ADVERTISING (GOOGLE ADSENSE)

We use Google AdSense to show ads that keep the game free. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site:

Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on this site. For more detail on how Google uses data when you use partner sites, see How Google uses data from sites that use its services.

ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregate usage — things like how many people play and which game modes are popular. Analytics collects standard usage data such as approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, and pages visited, using cookies and similar identifiers. We do not use analytics data to identify individual players. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy, or block analytics entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT

COOKIES

Cookies on this site come from the Google services described above (advertising and analytics). The game itself does not set tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the game remains fully playable with cookies disabled.

CHILDREN

The site is a general-audience puzzle game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only user-submitted field is the optional leaderboard name described above.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
